Heather received her bachelor's in nursing from Missouri Western State University in St. Joseph, Mo., and became an advanced practice nurse after graduating with honors with her master's from Walden University. She is board certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. "I am challenged each day to create a plan of care to help my patients take an active role in their health, " says Heather. Heather treats a variety of health concerns including hypertension, anxiety, depression and upper respiratory infections. She performs well-woman exams, removes warts and repairs lacerations.
